PROVISION FOR LIABILITIES
Provisions are made where an event has taken place that gives the Company a legal or constructive obligation that probably requires settlement by a transfer of economic benefit and a reliable estimate can be made of the amount of the obligation.

Provisions are charged as an expense to the statement of income and retained earnings in the year that the company becomes aware of the obligation and are measured at the best estimate at the Balance sheet date of the expenditure required to settle the obligation, taking into account relevant risks and uncertainties.

14. SUPPLIER NOTE

During the year, the Company received services from PHS between February 2025 and July 2025. Following the cessation of services, PHS issued invoices which include charges for services provided together with charges relating to the remaining contract period. The Company accepts liability for the services received up to July 2025 but disputes the additional charges on the basis that no services were received after that date and that the required notice to terminate the contract had been given.

At the date the financial statements were approved, the dispute remained unresolved. The directors have recognised the liability for services received up to July 2025 but have not recognised the disputed contractual charges, as they do not consider that a present obligation exists in respect of those amounts. Accordingly, no provision has been recognised for the disputed balance, the outcome of which remains uncertain.
