During the financial year, Oakworth Juniors continued to provide inclusive grassroots football opportunities for children and young people within the local community. The club organised regular training sessions, league fixtures, and development programmes aimed at improving players’ skills, confidence, and teamwork across various age groups. Oakworth Juniors remained committed to creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment where young players can enjoy sport regardless of ability or background. The club’s activities were delivered by dedicated volunteers, coaches, and staff who prioritised safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive development both on and off the pitch. Throughout the year, the club made a positive contribution to the local community by promoting physical activity, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and providing a constructive outlet for young people’s energy. The club also fostered community engagement by bringing together families, volunteers, and local supporters, helping to strengthen community ties and local pride. In addition, Oakworth Juniors supported community values such as respect, inclusion, and teamwork, help-ing young people develop important life skills. The club’s ongoing efforts have contributed to the wellbeing of its members and the wider community by supporting youth development and enhancing access to or-ganised sport. Overall, Oakworth Juniors has continued to have a meaningful and positive impact through its commitment to grassroots football and community engagement.
Oakworth Juniors’ stakeholders include players, parents and guardians, volunteer coaches, club officials, lo-cal league organisers, sponsors, and the wider local community. The club engages with its stakeholders through a range of informal and formal consultation methods. These include regular communication with parents and guardians via meetings, email updates, and messaging groups, as well as ongoing feedback from players during training sessions and matches. Coaches and volun-teers also contribute through internal discussions and committee meetings. In addition, the club maintains communication with local leagues and governing bodies to ensure compliance with standards and to sup-port development opportunities. Feedback received from stakeholders has informed several actions taken by the club during the financial year. These include improving training arrangements, maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding and well-being, ensuring inclusive participation for all players, and making adjustments to matchday organisation where required. The club has also continued to support coach development and enhance communication to ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged. Through this ongoing engagement, Oakworth Juniors ensures that stakeholder views are considered in deci-sion-making and that the club continues to meet the needs of its members and the wider community.
