Company activities and impact

The Grateful Arts Club CIC is here to help connect and support the community of Portsmouth through creative wellbeing. Since 2022 it has worked with over 75 charities and community groups and hosted events that have been visited and enjoyed by thousands of city residents. This years activities have impacted the community in the following ways... -Local residents - particularly those without access to the arts have been able to visit a city wide street art festival for free. -Walls throughout the city have been made more vibrant and given residents pride in where they live. -Portsmouth now has more street art per mile than any other city in the country. -A local school in the lowest socio economic area of the city hosted a spray paint workshop for 50 children. Inspiring them to learn more about art and support their wellbeing with creativity. - 20 Women artists have been mentored and their creative practise nurtured through 'Art Aunties' a series of workshops designed to improve visibility and confidence. -
