Urban Rise CIC is a social enterprise that helps young people build financial knowledge confidence and practical life skills. During the year Urban Rise delivered workshops community events and training programmes for young people. Our work covered budgeting saving money understanding payslips managing spending financial habits and making better decisions with money. Urban Rise has now supported more than 2850 young people through over 100 workshops and events. Our programmes give young people practical information that they can use in everyday life. We have worked with young people through schools universities youth organisations community organisations and other partners. We also use events and group activities to make financial education more engaging and easier to talk about. Our training programmes help young people build confidence communication skills and the ability to share what they have learned with others. Our work benefits the community by helping young people feel more confident with money and better prepared for adult life. We also create spaces where young people can learn meet others and have positive conversations about money their goals and their future.
Our main stakeholders are young people community organisations education providers funders partners volunteers and people who support our programmes. We speak to young people during our workshops events and other activities. We collect feedback to understand what they found useful and what they would like to learn more about. We also speak with our partners and organisations that work directly with young people. We use this feedback to improve our workshops events and resources. It also helps us decide what activities we should develop in the future.
Directors' remuneration of £15,753 was received during the financial year.
