For the financial period ended 30 November 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The member has not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the period in question in accordance with section 476.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

These financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors of the company have elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account within the financial statements.true

Accounting policies
Company information

The Fleet Guy Ltd is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is 40 Pleasant Street, The Lyng, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B70 7DP.

Reporting period

These accounts cover the shortened period from company formation on 11 April 2025 to 30 November 2025. As this is the company’s first financial period, no comparative information is presented.

Basis of preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The disclosure requirements of section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.

Turnover

Turnover is recognised at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for goods and services provided in the normal course of business, and is shown net of VAT and other sales related taxes. The fair value of consideration takes into account trade discounts, settlement discounts and volume rebates.

Intangible fixed assets - goodwill

Goodwill represents the excess of the cost of acquisition of unincorporated businesses over the fair value of net assets acquired. It is initially recognised as an asset at cost and is subsequently measured at cost less accumulated amortisation and accumulated impairment losses. Goodwill is considered to have a finite useful life and is amortised on a systematic basis over its estimated useful life.

Cash and cash equivalents

Cash and cash equivalents are basic financial assets and include cash in hand, deposits held at call with banks, other short-term liquid investments with original maturities of three months or less, and bank overdrafts. Bank overdrafts are shown within borrowings in current liabilities.

Financial instruments

The following assets and liabilities are classified as financial instruments – trade debtors, trade creditors, bank loans and directors’ loans.

Directors’ loans (being repayable on demand), trade debtors and trade creditors are measured at the undiscounted amount of cash or other consideration expected to be paid or received.

Taxation

The tax expense represents the sum of the tax currently payable and deferred tax.

 

Tax deferred or accelerated is accounted for in respect of all material timing differences, in particular accelerated capital allowances. All deferred tax is charged/(credited) to the Statement of Income and Retained Earnings/Profit and Loss Account.

Related party transactions

At the balance sheet date an amount of £9,617 was owed to Ferdotti Motor Services Limited, a company which Mr T Guidotti is a director and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ferdotti Holdings Ltd.

At the balance sheet date an amount of £8,676 was owed to Ferdotti Ventures Limited.
