As of November the company had 94 artist members to which it provides ongoing support, advice and opportunities, and we continue to receive applications for membership on a weekly basis. We launched a new Young Artists Membership, offering half-price support to artists aged 18 to 25. As part of this we also partnered with both Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University to introduce graduate awards, giving three talented final year students at each institution a free year's membership. 2024/25 saw the thirteenth anniversary year of dot-art Schools, an annual interactive online inter-school art competition for Year 5 and Year 9 students across the Liverpool City Region, with an exhibition at the Walker Art Gallery in June. Year fourteen was then launched in September 2025. Our affordable and flexible studios in the heart of Liverpool city centre on Lord Street remain full and provide workspace to 14 visual artists and craftspeople. We have now offered this service in three different locations since 2010, during which time we have hosted more than 40 artists and have usually been completely full. We also opened a second set of artist studios in the Royal Liver Building in January 2025, which is now home to 10 more artists and craftspeople. This year also saw the culmination of the fourth year and launch of the fifth year of Art Bytes, our national inter-school art competition based on the success of dot-art Schools. The programme incorporates a bespoke virtual gallery and partnerships with high-profile cultural venues in the nine regions of England. The fourth year saw around 150 schools from across England take part.

Our stakeholders are North West based visual artists, both emerging and established. In particular, these include artists struggling to support themselves through sales of work alone, artists from disadvantaged communities, and artists who need help and support to develop their careers and gain exposure and promotion for their work.

Our stakeholders have been consulted in a number of ways over the past 12 months. At events and gatherings we have requested feedback from artists regarding the help they need and the support they would value. We have spoken directly to artists as they join us, asking for input into our activities and ideas for new services. We ran Artists Forums open to all members in March 2025 and September 2025. These informal events are designed to give all members the opportunity to provide feedback and contribute ideas. Since August 2020 these forums have taken place via Zoom, which has proved very successful by allowing more people to attend than would have been able to travel to the gallery at a specific time.

This year we also continued our informal in-person Artist Social events, held between the biannual forums in January and July 2025. These events give members the opportunity to chat with both fellow members and dot-art staff in a more relaxed environment, which we have found better suits some participants.
