PART 1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY'S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT

Ipswich Phoenix Basketball Club C.I.C. provides basketball training, coaching and playing opportunities for children, young people and adults in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. During the financial period, the company delivered basketball sessions and tournament opportunities and promoted the benefits of team sport, physical activity and personal development. The activities support health and inclusion and provide a constructive community outlet, while encouraging positive attitudes, character development and participation in basketball at an affordable cost. Any surplus is retained for reinvestment into the company’s community programmes.

PART 2 - CONSULTATIONS WITH STAKEHOLDERS

The company’s stakeholders include children, young people and adults who participate in its basketball activities, together with parents, families, coaches and the wider local community in Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

The directors and coaches have regular contact with participants and families through training sessions, games and club activities, providing opportunities for feedback on the programmes and activities offered.

Feedback is considered when planning and developing the company’s basketball and community activities.

During the period, Tylan Levant Sevindik-Burnett received £500 for basketball coaching services provided to the CIC. This payment related to coaching activities undertaken for the benefit of the club’s participants and was not remuneration for his duties as a director.
