COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

SENSECERE CIC

Company Number: 11758111 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 January 2026

Company activities and impact

Sensecere CIC has continued to deliver Sensory Saturday Club sessions for children with additional learning and health needs. Our sessions are delivered in a community hub building. Where its service is advertised and supported through local community hubs in the area. We support families and children within the local community who are attending SEN schools and have a cross over of supporting staff and training opportunities. The sessions provide a much - needed break from caring for the families that are using our service. It also provides much needed empathetic and practical advice and guidance on an ongoing basis. The families also benefit from the support of the wider community at the hub. This year we developed the idea of a younger Saturday Club and an older group so we can continue to support the children and the families as they grow into teenagers and young adults. This has worked well and allowed us to support more children and families. We are currently looking at the support of two new trustees who bring SEN experience both professionally and personally. This will be developed for the next reporting year. Alongside this we are developing the website and Facebook page to incorporate training opportunities and collaborations for continued parental learning and support.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders are the parents, carers and children. All groups are asked for feedback periodically. At each session with the children, we ask and collect physical data as to their likes and dislikes of the session. Along with the scrap books that we keep on behalf of the children. The team also collect data in the form of observations for the children that are unable to write. We really pride ourselves on our open-door policy. All the team are good communicators, and the organisation insists on this with all its stakeholders. Feedback following consultations: “Good communication with us” “Quality provision, caring approach” “ To be able to have a break in amazing “ Consultancy went out regarding older group, all parents wanted this and was very grateful of the opportunity to stay in the same setting. This was well received from the parents and carers and the children going up to Sensecere + group. Feedback sort for the use of the new website as a learning platfrom and well as a way to encourage community through chat groups and face to face meet ups and family days. All was meet with “yes please we need all this so much”
