The company operates a equity-settled share option scheme for the benefit of employees. Certain employees and/or directors of the company have been granted share options over shares in the company. The share options are subject to a vesting period of five years and are subject to and in accordance with the rules of the share option plans.
During the year, the company recognised total share-based payment expenses of £3,230 (2024 - £Nil) which related to these equity settled share based payment transactions granted to employees of the company.
As the company is unable to directly measure the fair value of employee services received, it determined the fair value of the share options granted using the Black-Scholes model. The model is internationally recognised as being appropriate to value employee share schemes similar to the scheme operated by the company.
