Provided accessible and lower-cost opportunities and supporting activities that improve physical health, mental wellbeing, confidence, education and social connection within our local community

Consultation with stakeholders

Lift and Empower CIC’s stakeholders are mainly people from low-income backgrounds but also supports the wider community. The CIC helps them to start feeling more productive, improve their self-esteem, and mental well-being to help motivation beyond their training. There is lots of evidence to support the positive benefits of exercise on the brain; we believe this service can be part of a social prescription to help support parts of the NHS. The CIC responds to feedback by continuing to develop new projects and services, providing more accessible and lower-cost opportunities for the whole community. The CIC hosts community events that consult its stakeholders about these new projects.
