APNI COMMITTEE CIC
Company No.15291276
Community Interest Company Report
For the year ended 30 November 2025
PART 1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY'S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT

The company’s activities will provide benefit active members, and this will cover his/her immediate family.

Our main purpose is to serve active members and if there is a death within the members family or the member themselves then the funeral service and any other costs associated with the funeral that is deemed necessary will be covered by the us. For example, travel costs for repatriation for burial.

To Provide a service that allows the community members to contribute to a funeral and burial fund: Many people of the Muslim community in the UK do not have enough funds to organise a funeral and burial. Our CIC company allows members of our community to contribute to this fund monthly. These funds will cover up the member and his/her immediate family in the UK to organise the funeral of a deceased person. We aim to make this difficult process smooth for the grieving family.
The members must be aged 18 and would be a UK resident only to join as an active member. They must agree to pay a set amount of fees every month to get the benefits of the committee. The membership amount will be fixed and set in a yearly meeting of all active members who would agree to the said amount. The CIC will only pay out to an active member so that they do not feel the burden of finding the funds at the difficult time. As soon as a member is active all costs of burial will be met by the funds generated by the CIC monthly’s subscription. Currently there are 20 members who are active.

To make a pay out for all essential costs associated with the funeral and burial: The community is based around funeral rituals of Muslims, and we want to elevate the burden of the financial pressures from our members. The monies produced by CIC is to cover costs of a of a death of an active member of the committee or their direct relative. It is up to the active member or their immediate family on how to decide and to how arrange the funeral. The financial costs for the shroud, coffin and burial of the deceased include the travel costs for the repatriation burial. And anything that is deemed necessary will be covered. This is offered to all active members without any discrimination.
