| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Turnover |
| Sales and Professional Fees: Sales represent professional fees for legal services rendered. These are recognised as turnover on the basis of the stage of completion of the work performed. This includes work that has been performed and invoiced to the clients during the period. |
| Value Added Tax (VAT): Turnover is stated exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT is a tax on goods and services, and it is accounted for separately and payable to the relevant tax authority. |
