During this financial period, Hopeful Spaces CIC significantly expanded its capacity to deliver accessible, affordable, and compassionate counselling to marginalised communities facing barriers to support. Through the inclusion of two student placement counsellors from Glasgow Clyde College, we successfully increased our service output, adding 8 additional hours of available counselling per week. Over the course of the year, we supported 35 individuals through one-to-one therapy sessions. Investments were also made into brand development, digital marketing, and essential office furnishings to create a welcoming, professional therapy environment.
We maintain active engagement with our key stakeholders, including people who access the service, partner education institutions, and local community hubs. Feedback from clients receiving support within Ferguslie Park continues to shape our delivery, confirming the vital need for low-barrier mental health provision. Our collaboration with Glasgow Clyde College students has strengthened our operational capacity, while ongoing relationships with local referral partners like the Tannahill Centre ensure our support reaches those most in need.
