Company activities and impact

The company has provided support for people in the community, including one parent at risk of having children removed by the local authority, to provide mentoring and practical assistance to enable the child to remain with parent. Opportunity to access subsidised entertainment that might otherwise be too expensive for families, eg. Christmas pantomime Working with a local CIC to develop a creative project within high security men’s prisons with a core team of up to 12 volunteers In partnership with another local CIC to facilitate therapeutic dance opportunities outside of the City Centre for people with life limiting conditions who cannot travel away from their villages. Work on the therapeutic children’s accommodation stalled due to funding not being made available.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation in relation to the prison project with people already involved in accessing prisons for projects provision Discussions with local funder to fund partner organisation to deliver dance opportunities having obtained information relating to need from organisations already working with people living with life limiting conditions, such as dementia UK/ Alzheimer’s Society/ The Dementia Trust and others
