Other operating income
Other operating income represents rental income and other property-related income and recharges, including insurance and other costs recovered from tenants.
Rental income is recognised on a straight-line basis over the period to which it relates, in accordance with the terms of the relevant lease or occupancy agreement.
Insurance and other property-related income and recharges are recognised in the period to which the underlying charge relates, when the company becomes entitled to recover the amount from the tenant.
