Pathway Housing Solutions has now established itself as a lead national organisation on Black Homelessness. We sit on the National Housing Federations Homelessness Strategy Group, lead on Homelessness for BME National, and also sit on the Developed Authority’s Homelessness Taskforce. We are partnering with Framework to deliver a Culturally Specific Rough Sleeper Project, and are the original founders of a Race Researchers Practitioners Network We continue to engage in Community Led Housing and Community Wealth Building Networks to ensure that the voice of marginalized groups are heard and to build our presence on national, local and regional platforms. Our focus has been on raising the profile of the organisation, undertaking research and using this evidence base to lobby and campaign for system change. It is our plan that this profile will enable us to build strong partnerships and alliances that will facilitate our plans to build an asset base and to deliver affordable housing and related community services. We have adopted community led housing as a vehicle for contributing to address homelessness, and developed two models: HomeMade and Laying The Foundations. HomeMade is to bring empty properties back into use and Laying The Foundations aims to develop homes on small sites. We had partnered with a Housing Association to develop 12 1 bed 1 person apartments and submitted a joint bid to Government and were successful in progressing through to the second stage. However issues with the housing association and homes England resulted in our application not being supported to stage 3.

Our Board are our consultees and guide our strategic decisions. Lack of progress in terms of housing has stimied that however we have attended a number of community events where we have been able to present our ambitions and generate community and grassroots interest in our approach to addressing homelessness Stakeholders include: Shelter, CRISIS, Homeless Link, Heriot Watt, UK Cohousing Network, Confederation of Cooperative Housing, TunTum Housing Association, Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, HLP Architects, the Ubele Initiative, The Race Equality Council, Caribbean Collective, The Phoenix Way, BME National, East Midlands Councils Combined Authority, Nottingham City Council, Race Equality Foundation, New Economics Foundation, Housing Diversity Network. Pathway Housing Solutions continues to seek opportunities for partnership working across the Nottingham and wider area and contributed to the Councils Housing and Homelessness Strategy Consultations. We continue to work hard to network and make contacts with a range of potential stakeholders as we move forward The Directors and Board continue to ensure that all decisions are fully informed by the views of the organisation's intended beneficiaries and with the wider community and stakeholders. We regularly produce briefing and articles, and utilise partner communication channels. We also use these channels to undertake surveys. In addition, we host Webinars on a range of social justice issues and use these as a means of capturing partner and stakeholder views
