    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their useful lives. Computer equipment 25% reducing balance method

    Valuation information and policy

    Tangible assets are valued at cost less depreciation and impairment.

Company activities and impact

Key area of our work has been delivery of day care and community based support services. These services provide individuals with opportunities to develop confidence. independence and social skills within a safe , welcoming and inclusive environment . Our activities are designed around the individuals , recognising their abilities, interests and personal needs rather than focusing solely on their disabilities. Over all our work has strengthened inclusion, reduced isolation and improved access to support for people with LD, neurodiverse conditions and autism.

Consultation with stakeholders

During the financial year, CIC maintained ongoing engagement with service users, carers, families and other community stakeholders to ensure our services remained relevant, accessible and responsive to changing needs. A particularly important source of consultation has been direct communication with the individuals who use our day care and community services. Through regular conversations, informal feedback and ongoing engagement we have been able to understand what individuals enjoy and what support they require and where additional assistance may be beneficial.
