Company activities and impact

Saving Threads CIC provided financial support to local community groups and charitable causes, including organisations supporting people experiencing homelessness. Free clothing and other essential items were provided to families experiencing financial difficulty, including suitable summer clothing during periods of hot weather. Free school uniforms were provided to local families who were unable to afford them. More than 20 individuals and more than 20 families benefited directly from donated clothing and other essential items during the reporting period.

Consultation with stakeholders

Saving Threads CIC engages with stakeholders through user feedback, discussions with local businesses and community groups, and regular social media engagement. The company also involves members of the local community in fundraising ideas and encourages feedback about the support that is most needed. Feedback from stakeholders helps Saving Threads CIC identify where support is most needed and which individuals, families, organisations and community groups it should reach out to, enabling the company to improve and target the support it provides.
