The Company's activities provide benefit to the people in and around the Brecks and Rotherham area through the provision of a local, multi-purpose community centre. these activities include a craft group, coffee afternoons, indoor mat bowls session, fitness and well-being classes, baby and toddler group, unpaid carers support sessions. These activities benefit the community by giving them a place to come together, socialise and meet other people, combatting loneliness and social isolation. The fitness and exercise sessions assist the local residents with not only their physical wellbeing but also their emotional and mental wellbeing. Other activities include holding trade and craft fairs and other fundraising events for local charities and to raise funds for the ongoing costs of the community hub. The CIC also allows other local businesses to hire the space for their projects and individuals to have private parties or run activities themselves. This in turn supports the local economy and supports small business in the area.
