Company activities and impact

Educate Aug CIC exists to improve access to creative, inclusive and emerging technology education for children, young people and educators. During the financial year, the company focused on researching, developing and delivering practical approaches to AI-supported learning, storytelling and literacy, with a particular emphasis on making emerging technologies accessible, safe and educationally meaningful. The company's activities benefited the community in the following ways: Developed and tested AI-supported educational resources and teaching approaches designed to improve communication, creativity, literacy and digital confidence. Delivered educational workshops and learning experiences that introduced children and young people to AI through storytelling, visual creativity and problem-solving in a guided, age-appropriate environment. Continued research and development of the inAug educational platform, exploring new ways for children to learn through storytelling, character creation, voice interaction and creative media production. Supported schools and educators by developing practical approaches to responsible AI use, curriculum integration and classroom delivery, with safeguarding and accessibility forming a core part of the design process. Continued development and evaluation of AI-assisted literacy interventions, building on previous work in primary education to explore how technology can support reading fluency, pupil engagement and personalised learning. Created educational resources, demonstrations and prototype learning experiences that have been shared with schools, libraries, community organisations and education professionals to encourage discussion around safe, inclusive and effective uses of AI in education. Worked with education, technology and community partners to explore innovative approaches to digital skills, creative learning and future employability, helping to improve awareness and understanding of emerging technologies. Throughout the year, the company's activities remained focused on its community interest purpose of increasing educational opportunity, reducing barriers to participation in emerging technologies, and helping learners, educators and organisations develop the confidence and skills needed to engage with AI responsibly and creatively.
