During the period November 2024 to November 2025, the company’s activities primarily focused on advocacy, awareness raising and developing the foundations for its future work supporting people experiencing mental health difficulties. Throughout the year, we used our platform to raise awareness of the experiences and challenges faced by people accessing mental health services, particularly those receiving inpatient psychiatric care. Drawing on lived experience, we advocated for greater dignity, compassion and understanding within mental health care and encouraged wider conversations around how individuals can be better supported during periods of crisis. We also continued to build awareness of our mission within the community and develop relationships with individuals and organisations with an interest in improving mental health support. This period allowed us to further develop our aims, identify areas of unmet need and consider how the organisation could create meaningful and sustainable impact in the future. No fundraising activities were undertaken during this reporting period. Instead, the company concentrated its resources on advocacy, awareness and organisational development, laying the groundwork for the expansion of its activities in the following year. The impact of this work was primarily through increasing awareness, contributing to conversations surrounding dignity and mental health care, and strengthening the organisation’s direction and purpose. This period provided an important foundation from which the company could develop its future practical support for people accessing psychiatric services.

Throughout the reporting period, we engaged informally with people with lived experience of mental health difficulties, members of the wider community, and individuals with experience of mental health services. These conversations helped inform our understanding of the challenges people can face when accessing psychiatric care and contributed to the ongoing development of the organisation’s aims and future activities. We also used feedback and engagement through our social media platforms to understand the experiences and perspectives of the community we aim to support. This helped ensure that our advocacy remained informed by lived experience and focused on issues that were meaningful to those accessing mental health services.
