In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the Company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. The year 24/25 at Vivace Theatre School saw good enrolment on courses and big demand for Musical Theatre classes which ran consistently at capacity with waiting lists operating. The school was awarded Theatre School of the year 2025 by the E2 Media Awards and there was a huge demand for summer programmes.
Vivace's primary stakeholders are our students and their families. Other stakeholders include our staff, production companies and partner organisations with whom we work. Stakeholder engagement is central to Vivace's approach. Our educational model is pupil-led, and understanding and responding to the needs of our students is a key priority. We regularly seek the views of students, parents and staff to ensure that our learning model reflects a range of perspectives. Each course has a designated Programme Coordinator, drawn from our teaching team. These staff members liaise directly with students and parents, gather feedback and develop the curriculum in response to their needs. Consultation takes a variety of forms, including: - Discussions between tutors and students during or after classes - Private Facebook groups for parents and students - Email consultations and feedback - An open-door policy at Vivace Reception, enabling face-to-face discussions with staff When working with production companies and partner organisations, we commonly undertake evaluations of the work completed. The feedback and evaluation data gathered inform the planning and development of future projects. Online reviews also provide an additional source of feedback. We consider this feedback carefully and use it, where appropriate, to review and improve our practices.
