During the financial year ended 30 September 2025, ANOTHER EAR CIC continued to carry on activities for the benefit of the community by providing advice, support, representation, mediation-related assistance, community assistance and practical help to individuals and families. The company’s activities benefited the community by helping service users access guidance, prepare and organise documents, communicate with third parties, obtain practical support, and receive assistance with personal, family, housing, welfare, dispute resolution, and other community matters. The beneficiaries were individuals, families and members of the wider community who required assistance, advice, representation, mediation-related support or practical help. The CIC’s work was directed at those in need of assistance and was not carried out for private profit. The impact of the company’s work was that individuals and families who may otherwise have struggled to access support were assisted with practical guidance, advocacy, communication, documentation and community-based help. The company applied its resources toward community purposes and maintained its community benefit work during the year.
The company consulted its stakeholders informally during the financial year. Stakeholders included service users, families requiring assistance, community members, volunteers, community supporters, directors, and individuals or organisations who engaged with ANOTHER EAR CIC in connection with its community benefit activities. Consultation took place through direct contact with service users and community members, including conversations, meetings, telephone calls, messages, referrals and ongoing engagement. Through this contact, the company was able to understand beneficiaries' practical needs and the type of support required. In response to stakeholder feedback and requests for assistance, the company continued to provide community support, advocacy, mediation-related assistance, administrative help, documentation support and practical guidance to individuals and families. The company also maintained the operational resources needed to deliver its community benefit work.
