  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Other accounting policies

    Investments in subsidiaries Investments in subsidiary undertakings are recognised at cost. Agency and intercompany transactions The company administered bank, lease, invoicing and property-cost transactions connected with the group operations. Amounts economically attributable to NI Trafford Limited are recognised through an agency/intercompany account and are not recognised again as the company's turnover or expenses. Estimation uncertainty The debtor and creditor balances relating to Aintree include estimates based on the latest available rent and rates information because final statements and post-August 2024 bank records were unavailable. The estimates have no net effect on shareholders' funds.
