Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 December 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets other than freehold land are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation and any provision for impairment Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation of fixed assets less their estimated residual value over their expected useful lives on the following basis Equipment 25 over 4 years Plant and machinery etc 25 over 4 years

Company activities and impact

Cerisia Homes CIC is an active community interest company based in Birmingham, England, that provides residential care and support for people facing mental health issues, learning difficulties, and homelessness providing semi-independent supported living for 16-18 year olds. The young people that we house live with us 24 hours 7 days a week and are taught independent living skills to prepare them for adulthood. Young Persons are entitled to weekly allowance which includes food shopping money and due to the current economy of prices rises it can be difficult for young people to budget.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stake holders are the West Midland Social Services who place young people in our care. We complete case reports and discuss progress and issues with the young persons social worker who placed them with us

Directors' remuneration

The Directors each have received a salary of £42,160 – shown under Administrative expenses Wages and Salaries part of the total wage bill of £462,463 on the Detailed Income Statement
