During the year, FRAthletics C.I.C provided meaningful community benefit by delivering free and subsidised sports activities to local residents who would otherwise face financial barriers to participation. The company's programmes were designed to improve physical health, confidence, and social inclusion, particularly among individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. By offering accessible fitness sessions, community sports events, and loc-cost group activities, FRAthletics C.I.C. enabled residents to engage in regular physical exercise in a supportive environment. This helped reduce inequality in access to sport, encouraged healthier lifestyles, and strengthened community cohesion. The availability of subsidised sessions ensured that activities remained open to all, while targeted free sessions ensured that those most in need were able to participate without costs. The company's work contributed positively to wellbeing across the community, providing opportunities for social connection, improving physical fitness, and supporting individuals who may otherwise be excluded from organised sport due to financial constraints.
Consultation took place through: Direct feedback from participants during and after sessions Informal discussions with local community organisations Monitoring attendance, engagements levels and participant's needs This feedback helped shape session times, pricing, outreach priorities and the design of free and subsidised activities, ensuring the company's work continued to meet the needs of those participants.
