# Principal Activities of the Company The principal activities of **Barimigol CIC** during the financial year were the provision of affordable community food services and the organisation of community food events in Bristol. The company provided low-cost meals, including its £1 community lunch initiative, and organised Korean street-food and cultural food activities. These activities were undertaken to improve access to affordable food, bring members of the community together, reduce social isolation and promote cultural exchange. The company also worked to support local independent food businesses, suppliers and community participants through collaborative food activities and events. As a Community Interest Company, Barimigol CIC operates for the benefit of the community, with income generated from its activities used to support and develop its community-focused objectives.
