Company activities and impact

The International Association of Civil Aviation Chaplains (IACAC) is an organization of chap-lains involved in the civil aviation industry. At more than a hundred airports around the world Airport Chaplains support travellers and people working in the aviation sector in various kinds of challenging situations. The IACAC promotes chaplaincy work at airports and supports Airport Chaplains in fulfilling their tasks. The COVID pandemic has had a serious impact on civil aviation around the world. Since the creation of the CIC, many employed airport chaplains have been furloughed and those who are volunteers asked not to attend their airports for safety reasons. It has not yet been possible to complete the transfer of assets from the unincorporated asso-ciation to the CIC Consequently, the CIC has been in effect dormant during this time.
