COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

ANNIES STAY AND PLAY CIC

Company Number: 15740065 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 May 2026

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Annies Stay and Play CIC continued to provide essential early years support for families with children aged 0 to 5. Our stay and play sessions offer a safe, welcoming, and developmentally supportive environment for young children, helping to address a clear gap in local provision. These sessions give families opportunities to socialise, access peer support, and engage in activities that promote early learning, confidence, and wellbeing. In addition to our core sessions, we delivered a range of community events throughout the year. This included summer activities designed to bring families together, encourage outdoor play, and strengthen community connections. Our insurance also enabled us to support and host additional community gatherings, ensuring that local residents had access to inclusive, low cost events. We further expanded our community impact by offering a weekly darts night, free of charge. This has become a valued social opportunity for adults in the area, helping reduce isolation, build friendships, and create a sense of belonging within the community. Overall, the company’s activities have provided meaningful social, developmental, and wellbeing benefits to families and residents across the local area, strengthening community ties and offering much needed support where provision is limited.
