COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

BAMBINOS PLAY CIC

Company Number: 16127873 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 December 2025

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Bambinos Play CIC continued to support children and families living in disadvantaged, low-income and vulnerable communities in Aston, Birmingham. We delivered accessible early years and family support activities, including Stay and Play, Healthy Home Habits and our Back to Business (BTB) Clinic. These sessions supported children aged 0–5 with their communication, language, social and emotional development, while helping parents build confidence and access practical support around education, employment, healthy living and childcare. Our work particularly benefited families experiencing isolation and limited access to affordable play, early education and support services. Through our community activities, families were able to access a safe, welcoming environment where children could learn and play and parents could connect with others and receive advice and guidance. The organisation has helped reduce isolation, improve parents’ confidence and knowledge, increase children’s access to learning and play opportunities, and strengthen families within the local community.

Consultation with stakeholders

Bambinos Play CIC’s key stakeholders include children and families who use our services, parents and carers, volunteers, local schools and nurseries, and community and health organisations. Stakeholders have been consulted through parent feedback, surveys, informal discussions, observations and feedback following sessions. Parents have shared their experiences, concerns and suggestions about access to play, early years education, childcare, isolation and wider family support. In response to this feedback, Bambinos Play CIC has continued to provide accessible Stay and Play sessions, introduced Healthy Home Habits activities and developed our Back to Business Clinic to provide parents with practical support around education, employment and family needs. Feedback has also highlighted a need for continued SEND support and accessible opportunities for children and families.
