The GLIDE Foundation had another successful year in 2025, supporting charities and charitable initiatives globally. The total value of all donations globally to charities was £15,840.

Supported themes agreed upon by the members of the GLIDE Foundation directed our focus and support throughout the year. The three areas where we focused our attention were: children and youth, mental health, and helping the underprivileged / less fortunate.

The GLIDE Foundation lent a helping hand while providing monetary donations to charities around the world. We did food drives, clothing drives, and book drives in our respected regions. Also, we sponsored face painting initiatives at GLIDE Fest and our Casino Night raffle prizes and put together Christmas gifts for children in Africa. A member of the GLIDE Foundation raised funds by shaving his head.

All the GLIDE Board members also had a day helping at St. Luke's Hospice, sorting clothes that are to be given to the less fortunate.

All funds raised plus the funds we budgeted were donated to Team Ted, Fairplay, St. Luke's Hospice, Men in Sheds, Age UK, and Ashgate Hospice in the United Kingdom, Jacob's Heart, the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness, and Hollywood Food Coalition in the United States of America, Safetynet Services and Samaritan's Purse in Canada, and Strasbourg Action Solidarité in France.

The GLIDE Foundation members are delighted with all the engagement from the member business to support and participate in all the charitable initiatives and we look forward to a successful 2026.

The financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

In accordance with Section 444 of the Companies Act 2006, the Income Statement has not been delivered.

1.	STATUTORY INFORMATION

GLIDE Foundation is a private company, limited by guarantee , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2.	ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets.

Investments

Investments held as fixed assets are stated at fair value.

The gain or loss on revaluation of fixed asset investments have not been recorded in the Profit and Loss account as required by FRS102 Section A as a 'true and fair' override has been applied. The investments are held for the long term benefit of the company and are not available for sale. Any revaluation of the investments is therefore purely notional and cannot be realised, and so it would be misleading to recognise any gain or loss on revaluation in the Profit and Loss account.

Any gain on revaluation is credited directly to a Revaluation Reserve. Until such a reserve has been created, any loss on revaluation is debited directly to the Income and Expenditure reserve.

The loss on revaluations to date have been included in the Income Account as there is no Revaluation Reserve.

Fixed asset investments were valued on a fair value basis on 31 December 2025 by the GLIDE Foundation Board .

The fair value of the investment's is considered to be the Q4 share price. Although the shares are not tradeable (either by Articles or by intention), the shares maintain a right to future dividends, and the share price is determined by a formula which is based upon the past dividends.

The Donated Shares Reserve represents the cost price of shares donated to the Company.

The Revaluation Reserve will represent the revaluation gains (net) of the fixed asset investments.

9.	DONATIONS AS AGENT

During the year, the Foundation has made donations of £9,467 as agent on behalf of GLIDE Limited on account of the balance of funds received for the year ended 31 December 2024.

The Foundation has also received £8,849 as agent on behalf of GLIDE Limited for the year ended 31 December 2025. from which donations will be made as agent during the year ended 31 December 2026.
