Colour Outside The Lines researched and co-ordinated a project about the marshes in Grimsby. Local residents were able to find out more about their local landscape - its heritage and what the future might bring in terms of climate change. 545 people were reached through a mix of talks, workshops, exhibitions and schools visits. The legacy was working with Barmpot Theatre in the summer of 2026 on a chalkstream project, and also doing some workshops with Our Big Picture as part of their Future Flooding work.
Several meetings about important decisions regarding applying for Awards For All funding and getting advice from directors about the funding bid, also consultation about which partners to work with. The stakeholders are the people who visited the exhibited work in May 2026. I’ve already been approached by Jane at Barnpot Theatre to do some work with her about Grimsby’s chalk stream, and an academic working with OBP has also made contact re my research. Rachel Graham of Ecology in NELC will be sent a copy of the research as she has expressed interest in my work to dovetail with the work her and Josh Forrester are doing about the blow wells The talks I gave were very well attended and received. Paula at OBP has suggested that the research/findings are made into an audio story to reach people who may struggle with reading lots of information Many, many people have suggested that the work is made into a book. This was never part of the original project, but I feel that the work I did needs to go in the reference library and so a book is ideal. It would also allow me to put printed transcripts next to the illustrations so anyone with dyslexia could access the information
