Company activities and impact

During the financial period UK WGC CIC carried out activities for the benefit of women and girls of all ages and skill levels who participate in, or are interested in participating in, golf. The company supported and promoted an inclusive community through golf hubs, events and its online community. Activities included hub management, event hosting, community management, marketing and promotion designed to encourage participation and engagement within women's golf. These activities provided opportunities for women and girls to meet other golfers, build friendships and confidence, participate in golf activities and remain engaged with the sport in a welcoming and supportive environment. The activities furthered the company's objective of reducing barriers, sexism and gender inequality within golf and encouraging greater female participation and representation in the sport. Income generated through the company's activities was applied towards the costs of delivering, managing and promoting those activities. The remaining surplus was retained within UK WGC CIC to support the continued development of its community activities.

Consultation with stakeholders

UK WGC CIC's stakeholders include women and girls participating in the WGC community, including members of the online community and participants in hub meet-ups and events. The company engaged with stakeholders through its online community and in-person hubs and events, providing opportunities for members to connect, share experiences and advice, and participate in activities. Feedback and engagement from the community informed the ongoing management, promotion and delivery of the company's activities.
