    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents income from the company’s activities, excluding VAT. It is recognised when the company has provided the services to customers and the amount can be measured reliably. Income is recorded in the period to which it relates, in accordance with the accruals and matching principles.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, specifically over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the company delivered the Cornwall Folk Festival and associated music activities, providing cultural, social and economic benefits to the local community. Our events supported local musicians, volunteers and small businesses, encouraged participation in the arts, and contributed to the vibrancy of Wadebridge and the surrounding area. We also worked with community partners to make music accessible to a wide range of residents, strengthening local engagement and supporting the town’s cultural calendar.
