Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard102 – The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland, Section1A (Small Entities), under the historical cost convention.
The financial statements are prepared on a going concern basis. Although the company expects to cease trading during the next financial year, no formal date has been set and it continues to meet its liabilities as they fall due. Accordingly, the directors consider the going concern basis to remain appropriate, although a material uncertainty exists regarding the company’s ability to continue trading. The financial statements do not include any adjustments that might result if the company were unable to continue trading.
The financial statements cover the period from 1January2025 to 31March2026, a period of fifteen months. The previous financial year covered twelve months ended 31December2024. As a result, the current period is longer than usual and the amounts presented in the statement of comprehensive income are not directly comparable with those of the prior year.
Turnover
Turnover comprises cost recharges to FrenchFounders Inc for services provided, including an agreed mark-up. Revenue is recognised in proportion to the services delivered and is not subject to UK value added tax as the supply is made to an overseas entity.
