The vital Unity Wellness CIC is a small local community group that supports elderly retired individuals. The group supports people dealing with retirement challenges like life transitions, loneliness, isolation and reduced daily contacts. The group offers a welcoming and supportive environment where members can rebuild connections, meet new people and make new friends. The group offers social activities and events such as walking, exercise class, afternoon tea, dancing and day trip to places of interest. There are also weekly health checks to monitor Blood Pressure and diabetes
As a newly formed organisation we have not yet carried out formal surveys or structured feedback sessions. However, we have engaged informally with group members to understand their needs and interests. As we grow, we plan to introduce simple feedback methods such as short questionnaires, verbal feedback and periodic stakeholder check ins to ensure our services remain relevant and beneficial.
