The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 30 April 2026

Principal activities of the company

The Company has had a great impact on the Town of Telford's Nature Reserves and its local residents. During this accounting period it has: Built and fitted 6 mini Bug Hotels with local families at a free open drop in. Delivered 6 Nature Education Walks and activities with Primary School Year 3,4,5 and 6 (reaching 144 pupils) Delivered a bespoke session in Woodland Management for 12 children in care. Delivered a bespoke session for children and Education Leads on Nature Engagement for Wellbeing as part of a Project Launch Event that had over 70 attendees. Delivered a free session for 10 unemployed Teenagers aged 16-18 at the Biz Ed Tech Club. Built a Forest School from Recycled Timber at Holmer Lake Primary School to support their Outdoor Learning Provision and OPAL Platinum Award. Led a community Volunteer Project to Restore Heathland that had 24 attendees - the legacy is that the new 'Friends of Dawley Hamlets Local Nature Reserve' now leads their own volunteer days independently. Delivered a Walk and Talk 'netwalking' Chamber of Commerce event for owners of Small local businesses to connect and talk about business Sustainability. The event had 12 attendees. Led 2 Community 'Habitats and History' Events for Volunteer Group The Friends of Dawley Park. 23 people attended. Spoke to business leaders about the importance of Natures Recovery being a key feature of their Social Value Programmes at the Lyreco Sustainability Conference. The Conference had 80 delegates Installed 2 Owl Boxes at Hurleybrook Nature Reserve Installed 1 Owl Box at Ketley Paddock Mound Nature Reserve. Installed 2 Owl Boxes, 2 Bat Boxes, 4 different style nest boxes and 3 duck/waterfowl boxes at Simpsons and Horsehay Pools for the Friends of Horsehay Pools. Built a Community Raised Bed and Purpose Built Bee Habitat at Holmer Lake Local Nature Reserve with Social Value Volunteers from Fujitsu UK, Exotic Zoo and local residents. The project had 17 volunteers. Delivered 10 free open volunteer Sessions on Holmer Lake Local Nature Reserve that local residents and their families can attend free of charge.
