2.2

Going concern

The directors have made an assessment in preparing these financial statements as to whether the Company is a going concern and have concluded there are no material uncertainties that may cast doubt on the Company's ability to continue as a going concern.

As at the reporting date, the Company had incurred professional fees in connection with the acquisition of an investment property. These costs comprise survey fees which are deemed to be directly attributable acquisition costs incurred as part of the investment process.

Although legal title to the property had not transferred by the reporting date, the acquisition remained active and management considered completion to be highly probable. The expenditure is directly attributable to bringing the investment property into the condition necessary for its intended use and is expected to form part of the property's acquisition cost on completion.

Accordingly, the costs have been capitalised as part of investment property on the basis that they are recoverable through the successful completion of the acquisition.
