During the year ended 30 September 2025, Involve 2 Evolve CIC continued to operate for the benefit of the local community, with a particular focus on supporting young people, families and residents who may experience disadvantage or barriers to accessing opportunities and support. The CIC's activities during the period included community engagement and support, youth-focused activities, practical community assistance, and the delivery and development of projects designed to bring people together, build confidence and skills, and improve access to positive opportunities. The organisation also worked with local residents, community partners and other organisations to identify needs and provide appropriate activities and support. Income received by the CIC, including grant and project income, was used to support the delivery of its community objectives and the running costs associated with those activities. Expenditure included project materials and supplies, travel connected with project delivery, communications, printing and promotion, equipment, professional and subcontractor support, and other direct costs required to carry out the CIC's work. The overall aim throughout the year was to create accessible opportunities for local people, strengthen community connections and ensure that the CIC's resources were used to further its community purpose. Any surplus generated by the CIC remained within the organisation to support its continuing community activities.
The CIC's stakeholders include local residents, young people and families who take part in or benefit from its activities, volunteers and sessional workers, community organisations, delivery partners and funders. Consultation during the period took place mainly through direct conversations with participants and residents, feedback during and after activities, discussions with partner organisations, and ongoing communication with those involved in delivering or supporting projects. This informal and practical approach allowed the CIC to understand what support was useful, identify emerging needs and adapt activities where appropriate. Feedback from stakeholders was considered when planning activities, deciding how resources should be used and developing future community projects. The CIC sought to keep its work responsive to the needs of the people and communities it was established to benefit.
