Company activities and impact

Access Freedom Experiences CIC delivered a range of digital skills, engineering and STEM focused activities designed to increase opportunity, confidence and inclusion within the community. Our programmes provided hands on access to modern technologies such as drones, CAD design, 3D printing, robotics and digital media tools, enabling participants of all ages and backgrounds to develop practical, transferable skills that support progression into education, training or employment. We worked closely with local organisations, youth groups, schools and community partners to ensure that our activities reached individuals who are typically under represented in digital and technical fields. Many participants had limited prior experience with technology, through structured workshops and supported learning, they gained new skills, improved digital confidence and increased their ability to engage with modern workplaces. Our engineering based sessions encouraged problem solving, teamwork and creativity, helping participants build self belief and a sense of achievement. Several individuals reported improved wellbeing, reduced social isolation and increased motivation to pursue further learning as a direct result of taking part in our programmes. The CIC also provided community events, demonstrations and outreach activities that helped raise awareness of digital opportunities and inspired young people and adults to explore STEM pathways. By making advanced equipment accessible at no cost to participants, we reduced financial barriers and ensured that people from disadvantaged backgrounds could benefit equally. Overall, the company’s activities contributed to a more digitally confident, skilled and connected community, supporting local resilience, employability and long term social benefit.
