The company runs Music and Motherhood, weekly group music therapy sessions for post-partum women, and their babies. Run by HCPC-registered music therapists, we focus particularly on maternal mental health and support women suffering from post-natal depression or anxiety, birth trauma, feelings of isolation and extreme fatigue, or women who have disordered attachments with their babies. We opened for business in 2025 and during the financial year 2025-2026, our sessions have benefitted the community in the following ways: - More than 100 women in the Wiltshire area who have struggled to get NHS support, or who cannot afford private healthcare, have had a 'pay what you can' service available to them - The same number of newborn babies have been nurtured to form healthy attachments with their mothers - Women who have been experiencing extreme loneliness - particularly those from low income families who can't afford more traditional 'mum and baby groups' have found a support network - We've increased the footfall through the Pound Arts Centre and supported arts and health activities in the Corsham area - all supported by the Town Council
