During the financial year, the company carried out community activities on a voluntary and unfunded basis. These included organised walks with elderly people to encourage physical activity, wellbeing and social interaction, as well as a book-reading club held in a local coffee shop to promote reading, conversation and community connection. These activities helped reduce social isolation and provided residents with opportunities to meet others in a friendly and supportive environment. The company did not receive any grants, funding or trading income during the reporting period. The activities were supported through voluntary time and were delivered without cost to the company.
The company consulted informally with elderly participants, local residents and the coffee-shop venue involved in its community activities. Discussions covered the type of support participants wanted, suitable arrangements for the community walks, and preferences for the book-reading club. Feedback indicated that participants valued opportunities for social interaction, gentle physical activity, reading and conversation. In response, the activities were kept informal, welcoming and accessible, with arrangements adapted where appropriate to reflect participants’ needs and preferences.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
