REPORT OF THE DIRECTORS
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2025

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 December 2025.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY
The principal activity of the company in the year under review was that of bespoke accommodation for people with learning and/or physical disabilities, who require a fully supported housing service to enable them to enjoy life in their community.

DIRECTORS
The directors shown below have held office during the whole of the period from 1 January 2025 to the date of this report.

Ms L M Williams (Chair)
R Atkinson
G R Waterfield
S R Lomax
Mrs N Ahmed
R Kellock

Other changes in directors holding office are as follows:

R Bramley - resigned 26 September 2025

INTERNAL CONTROLS AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
The Board continues to meet on a quarterly basis and is ever mindful of the implications of the NHF Code of Governance (2020 Edition) for members as standards of excellence that should reflect in the work of the Board and the Association's managers.

PROPERTIES AND TENANTS SUMMARY
During the financial year, the Association successfully provided 51 properties as accommodation for 115 clients. During the year, 4 properties were acquired.

GOVERNMENT POLICY
The provision of support for people with learning disabilities (supported housing) is heavily dependent upon the adequacy and volume of government funding. The Government has published several consultation documents discussing changes to the manner in which they fund local government in respect of supported housing. Some of these proposals, if implemented, may impact adversely on the demand for the Association's properties. As yet, the Government has refrained from making such changes. However the Board is very mindful of the need to receive regular reports on the Government's position and to make prudent decisions regarding long term commitments. They will continue to keep these issues under constant review.

OTHER MATTERS
The directors do no believe there is any significant uncertainty over the Company's ability to trade as a going concern and that the preparation of the accounts on a going concern basis remains appropriate.

On behalf of the Board, I am able to confirm that Assured Living Housing Association Limited is financially viable and is set to remain so for the foreseeable future.
