During the financial year from incorporation to the end of 2025, the club’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways: Local residents have been able to take part in local cycling rides and events to improve their fitness, cycling skills and wellbeing. In 2025 we ran over 150 events with over 900 riders. Local residents have been able to take part in local discussions on the club website and via our Facebook group and WhatsApp community about all things cycling in the area as well as exchange advice, help and cycling equipment. This supports local businesses and promotes a community atmosphere. 49 younger members in the local area have enrolled and been part of the club’s ‘Youth Academy’ developing their on and off the bike skills and fitness, and providing a pathway into future cycling racing careers.
Stakeholders are the club members and prospective club members, consisting generally of local residents of Beeston. The club is run by committee members, who are club members and local residents, and are decided by a vote amongst the membership every year. The company directors are a currently a subset of the committee. There is an annual general meeting where members can attend, bring forward topics and motions for discussion and cast votes. Throughout the year members and non-members can get in contact through the club secretary and/or the discussion forums on the website, where the committee will subsequently act on this feedback.
