LANDLINKED CIC

Notes to the Financial Statements

for the Period Ended 31 December 2025

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

Turnover comprises fees for services and course income. Revenue from services is recognised as the services are provided. Grant income is excluded from turnover and accounted for separately under the policies below.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less accumulated depreciation and impairment. Standalone purchases below 500 pounds gross are normally charged to expenditure unless they form part of an integrated asset or larger capital project. Depreciation is charged on a straight-line basis from the month following the month in which the asset is available for use, as follows: plant and equipment - 20% per annum; office and IT equipment - 33 1/3% per annum.

    Other accounting policies

LandLinked CIC is a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102. These financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, including Section 1A Small Entities, and the Companies Act 2006. Government grants are accounted for using the accrual model. Grants relating to the purchase or creation of fixed assets are recognised in income systematically over the expected useful lives of the related assets. Amounts received but not yet recognised are included as deferred income. For non-exchange grants, where specified future performance-related conditions apply, income is recognised only when those conditions are met. Amounts received before the recognition criteria are satisfied are recognised as a liability. Restrictions on the use of funds are considered separately from performance conditions. At 31 December 2025 the company had net liabilities of 6991 pounds. The principal liabilities are deferred grant balances expected to be released to income as the relevant grant conditions are satisfied rather than settled in cash in the ordinary course of the projects. The directors therefore consider the going concern basis of preparation appropriate.
