Belina Grow CIC develops projects that engage and empower women currently outside the labour market. Since January 2023, we have secured a range of grants that have helped women return to work.
During the year, we were involved in the following activities:
The GLA funded us to develop a job brokerage to support 65 women into work, as well as continuing to fund us to develop the Community Outreach Programmes supporting over 250 women into training and employment support
We were funded by the AKG Community Investment Fund to support women with English as a second language and use AI to improve their employability skills.
Our stakeholders are the women we support and our partners. We work closely with the women we support and have many opportunities to consult with them, using this information to inform our own work and the work of other research and policy organisations.
Our research programme provides us with detailed quantitative and qualitative information gained by surveys, one-to-one interviews, and group discussions. This has allowed us to interview partners as well.
Every week we interview one person on the programme and share this with everyone – we find out what works for them and where they want to be. We also make it a point to ask people in person at our one-to-ones, through our feedback at events and on our app, where everyone can comment.
We have provided this in our accounts.
There was no interest paid at a performance-related rate.
