Directors' report period ended 30 November 2025

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 30 November 2025

Principal activities of the company

During this financial year, the CIC built on the organisational foundations established in its first year. We focused on developing our internal capacity, strengthening partnerships and engaging with stakeholders to inform our future work. Activities included an organisational development workshop and away day, further development of our internal policies and working together framework, and the facilitation of discussion series and stakeholder engagement activities. We also continued outreach and collaboration with organisations and networks working with Black and racially minoritised communities, including exploring the intersections between racial and disability justice. This work has benefited the community by strengthening connections between organisations and communities, creating opportunities for discussion and shared learning, and helping to ensure that our future activities are informed by the experiences and priorities of the communities and stakeholders we aim to support. We have also continued to develop our internal systems and capacity so that we can sustain and expand this work in future years.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders include community organisations, partner organisations, networks and individuals connected to our work, particularly those working at the intersection of racial and disability justice and with Black and racially minoritised communities. During the financial year, we consulted with stakeholders through a discussion series, creating a space for Black and global majority disabled people, activists, practitioners and allies to explore disability justice together. The sessions centred on lived experience, collective learning, access and care. We also engaged with stakeholders through meetings, outreach, partnership discussions, away days, and an organisational development workshop. These provided opportunities for stakeholders to share their experiences, priorities and views, and to contribute to discussions about our work and future direction. Feedback from these consultations has helped to shape our organisational development and priorities, including development of our internal systems, and aims for future work.

The total amount paid to Directors in respect of qualifying services was £24,409. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors which require to be disclosed.
