Consultation with stakeholders

Raise Your Roots CIC engaged informally with participants, community members, speakers and individuals involved in its activities. Stakeholders were consulted through conversations and feedback before, during and following activities. After each activity participants were provided with feedback forms that explored the impact of the activity, what could have been done differently and what future activities participants would like to see from the company. This helped the directors understand participants' experiences and views on the activities provided. The feedback also informed the planning for subsequent activities and community work. As this was the CIC's first year of operation, consultation was primarily informal rather than through a formal survey or consultation process.
