St Agnes Parishwide Defibrillator Network CIC worked to improve access to publicly accessible defibrillators across St Agnes Parish and the surrounding community. During the financial year, the company supported the provision, installation and ongoing availability of defibrillators and associated equipment at locations throughout the local area. The company also worked with local residents, businesses and community organisations to raise awareness of the defibrillator network and the importance of rapid access to lifesaving equipment in the event of a cardiac emergency. Funds received through donations, fundraising and community support were used to maintain and develop the network, including the provision of defibrillators, cabinets, replacement pads, batteries and other associated equipment. The company's activities were undertaken for the benefit of the local community, with the aim of increasing the availability and accessibility of emergency defibrillation equipment.
The CIC was created to allow us to start to formulate a recognised organisation with its own bank account and accountability of Directors and structure. All defibrillator holders or guardians, along with the private owners were verbally made aware of our longer-term aspirations to become a Charity. In relation to the general engagement on a day to day basic we used emails, social media and an initial website which we have since had dramatically re-designed by a professional web designer. During the period in question, we also undertook various public engagement and awareness events to provide public awareness relating to who we were and what we had achieve, along with why.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
