Report of the Directors
for the Year Ended 31 December 2025
The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 December 2025.
REVIEW OF BUSINESS
2025 was a year in which Caja's strategic investments started paying off, with stronger margins, deeper strategic partnerships and a clearer market position.
This year has seen Caja continuing to invest in growing its own employee base, through further investment in Behavioural Science, Data Science and Transformation resources, whilst also strengthening our senior resources through our associate community. This shift towards a more balanced mix of employees and associates has started to deliver results at project level with an increase in project margins over the year.
Alongside the investment in employees and continuing our innovative approach we have invested heavily in the development of our AWS capabilities, both from a platform and cloud perspective and also in the further development of our Insight QI products for both health and social care and higher education.
During Q4, the Company completed the migration of its data storage infrastructure to AWS Secure Cloud. This provides a fully secure, cloud-hosted environment for the storage of both client data and the Company's own hosted solutions, including InsightsCI, compliant with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, UK GDPR standards. This infrastructure has also enabled the development of enhancements to the Insights product suite, including machine learning-based predictive models and natural language chatbot interfaces. In parallel, the migration has strengthened internal technical capability, with a number of staff completing AWS certified training, and the Company has developed a roadmap towards achieving AWS Tier Partner status.
Our partnerships with Proservartner and Axcess have continued to develop over the year, with us working collaboratively with both companies on a number of deals over 2025. Significantly at the end of the year, we undertook a RPA project with Proservartner in the Higher Education sector which we hope will open other opportunities for us in the RPA/AI space for us in 2026.
We have continued to focus on operating costs and with a view to reducing these where possible have entered discussions with Staffordshire County Council and Keele University Science Park in relocating to slightly smaller premises on the existing campus and will hope to make the move in 2026.
Our two major markets have remained:
" Health, Social Care and Public Health
" Higher Education
We have continued to develop brand awareness in both these markets and undertaken a number of social media and marketing campaigns over the year, as well as speaking at a number of conferences over the year.
Our earlier investment in Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies and further development of our human-centred approaches, are now developing as true differentiators in the market. Our behavioural science, data science and process optimisation capabilities are now acting as the key differentiators for Caja as we engage with existing and new clients in the market.
We also once again demonstrated our credibility in the market through our work being recognised through t further awards from the Association for Business Psychology (ABP) again in 2025.
We believe that the strategic initiatives we have put in place during 2025, have created a firm foundation for 2026, including further development of our AI capabilities, growth across both markets and continued investment in our people.
